Mary Tate
Mary’s passion for organizing others began two years ago when she assisted her mother through the monumental task of moving out of her house of 43 years. Realizing the unique combination of project management, consulting and compassion could bring peace and happiness to others motivated her to start a company with her sister Laurie.
Mary has held various sales and marketing roles at Digital Equipment Corporation, Hewlett-Packard and iPass and is currently consulting in the area of channels and alliance marketing. Mary volunteers as the Director of Alliances, Secretary and Social Chairman for the HPAA (Hewlett Packard Alumni Organization) and is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Economics.
Laurie Bateman
Laurie’s greatest organizing strength is her ability to listen to her clients and come up with a plan that will work for them. She understands each client is unique and that any strategy must work for them. In her own words -- "It took me a long time to finally figure out what made me happy and that is helping people achieve something that has a significant impact in their life. When working with a client and they get an 'ah-ha' moment, I know this is what I was meant to do!"
Laurie began her career in the management training program for Franklin Templeton and spent most of her professional years in the field of marketing and event planning. She successfully launched her own company On Your Mark Consulting in 2000 and currently consults for a Financial Planner. Laurie has a General Securities Representative Series 7 license. Both Laurie and Mary are provisional members of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). Laurie is also a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Economics. She fell in love with the school after visiting her sister.
